One of the best place to visit from mangalore for 1 day
I travelled from Udupi to Shivamogga on 25th December evening around 6:10 PM. It took me more than a hour to climb Agumbe ghat due to a unexpected traffic jam because of an accident and a few vehicle breakdown. Otherwise this route is very scenic and fun to drive.
One of the nicest place to visit. You can experience the magic of pleasing nature. Driving is quite challenging due to lots of hairpins. The road ends at Kundadri view point which is a very nice and beautiful place. Food, snacks, drinks etc are not available at the view point. Also we have to come back before 18:00 hr (there is check post like setup on the way). Parking space is available. There was no crowd when we visited there. And surprisingly there is no entry fee to visit this view point.
Nice place for bike rides. Always careful, coz the roads are narrow
One of the best ghat roads ever
It is a winding road with about 14 hairpin bends. Need to wait for heavy vehicles to cross you at a few places as the road narrow. Sunset view point is also located on this road
Nice road.. sharp hairpin curves.. foggy weather... Nice to drive in the early morning... Nice to see from the top of the ghat in the view point....
